Mr. Bauchau brings an extremely interesting character to life on the Pretender, I find the depth of the character fascinating as he deals with his emotions regarding how he spent his life. Watching the development of the relationship of Sydney and Jarod is what keeps me hooked on the show. |

As Sydney, Mr. Bauchau is both sympathetic and professional even though I believe he enjoys Jarod being free to use all the basic skills Sydney helped to develop in spite of the Center. This takes good acting. THANKS. |

This is a great fan site. I loved the sound clips, especially those in Italian. I have absolutely no idea what he is saying, but he sounds fabulous. But then, you know how American women are about European accents. |

Patrick has my undivided attention when he is on the screen. He should do some taping of poetry with his mesmerizing voice. I would like also to know what type of yoga he does and why? Perhaps, deb could take questions from fans and get some answers for us. Since the pretender, I have been collecting all of Patricks videos that I can find. Love the site. Love the actor. Saw him first in The Pretender, loved his voice and have now been able to find more films of him to appreciate him fully as an actor. Can't understand why they say on The Pretender that he has a Belgian accent. To me it sounds like Oxford English and of a very beautiful version! |
